The planned possibilities will make the Village At Sugar Creek the most desirable location to live in the 10 county-area. Presently there are beautiful homes, walking paths, an up-scale golf course, fishing in three large ponds, an engaging creek and wonderful wildlife. Add to this a pavilion for outdoor dining and entertainment with live music and you have the beginnings of a wonderful community.
In the planning stages are at least 4 more large ponds that enable all residents to live on either the golf course or water lots. Presently being planned is a 3 hole golfing experience for evening play, a par 3, par 4 and par 5. These holes will surround one of the planned ponds. Also on the drawing board is a clubhouse for residents where they can entertain guests after golf, play afternoon cards or for evening get-togethers. Gazebos will be seen, walking trails with exercise stations are also in the near future. The walking path's can be as long as 5 miles in length, good for any workout.
Amenities off site include shopping in Bluffton, Lima Lake, Johnny Appleseed Park, the Lima Symphony, the Art Center, Freed Hall at Ohio Northern University, the Lima Loco's, a Collegiate Baseball League, The Lima Civic Center, Square Fair the first week in August and the largest county fair in Ohio in late August.
The Village of Sugar Creek is within 25 miles of the Neil Armstrong Space Museum. One of the finest collections of trains and train lore is found at the Allen County Museum. These are but a few of the wonderful experiences that await any resident in the Village.
